The scissors are now lighter and sharper thanks to our newly developed swing structure. By moving the fulcrum position away from the blade's center, we have achieved a "cutting effect" that allows for effortless cutting through the blade's structure. This cutting effect is approximately 5 times sharper than what our company had previously achieved. Additionally, the thick asymmetrical handle has been designed to fit comfortably in your hand and enable maximum force transmission for optimal cutting performance.

To enhance blade durability, we have applied a titanium coating finish, which improves durability by approximately 3 times. Inside the handle, we have incorporated a soft elastomer resin to reduce the impact of cutting and minimize the clicking sound that typically accompanies scissor use.

By adjusting the fulcrum point, you can achieve smooth cutting by placing the fulcrum on the target as you cut, or use it as a guide to guide the downward flow of the object being cut. To prevent finger pain and ensure accurate force transmission, we have utilized a 60% hardness soft elastomer resin.

Furthermore, the scissors have undergone double edge processing, which prevents the blade from spilling during cutting and ensures long-lasting sharpness. This outstanding design has earned the scissors the coveted Good Design Award and the 2014 Japan Stationery Award, Functional Division Excellent Award.

The blade lengths are 3.0 inches (76 mm) and 2.5 inches (64 mm) for the short blade. The dimensions of the scissors are 2.8 x 7.2 x 0.6 inches (70 x 183 x 15 mm), and they weigh 3.9 oz (85 g).
